Meet Dr. Dorie Frank
As the daughter of an orthodontist, Dr. Dorie Frank has spent her life seeing smiles transformed.
Education & Experience
Dr. Frank earned a B.S in Environmental Science from the University of Maryland before working in her father’s orthodontic practice.
Her passion for orthodontics grew, and she went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland Dental School.
She moved to New York for a General Practice Residency, followed by a three-year Orthodontics Residency at Stony Brook University.
After her residency, Dr. Frank was recruited by one of her professors, Dr. Ian Glaser, to work in his Commack practice, – re-launched as Bluebird Orthodontics, under Dr. Frank’s leadership.
Dr. Frank is proud to serve the community and continue the tradition of excellent orthodontic treatment.

Outside the Office
Dr. Frank loves to spend time with her husband, Mark, and their children Charlie, Leo, Mila, and Sam.
They’re always looking for an adventure, and can be found skiing, hiking, exploring a museum, and enjoying the best of Long Island and New York City.
